feelings of a tree...

    

I am alive D****t

I give you

 fruit

I give you fragrance

I give you home to live and grow

I give you shelter

I give you shadow

I give you fresh air

I give you different medicines

I give you all I have

Because of me you are alive

You give me suffocation

through pollution

You take my life 

by taking away water

You didn't give me the care I need

You only have the habit of cutting and

making money out of it

You didn't care about me

You only care about yourself

If I'm alive

You are alive

I am the Tree D****t. . .

Very important, and a unique topic. I like how open-minded you were. It almost sounded like an actual tree speaking. And I also liked how emotionally connected you were. Feeling the tree's pain, how it suffers and how we as humans sometimes abuse its importance without a second thought. Very Interesting!!!

nice piece, the words are so strong, i love the message of the poem, you're right when you've said if a tree is living, people are living too, i believe you, but now, i could see what you've notice in the world, and i also hope that it's not too late to make a move to save them, or else we'll all die...

Love this poem it's beautiful and so true. You impel people to realize the truth about our enviroment people such as myself. This peom made me think. It's cruel to thinkof the way we humans treat trees and take them for granted I have never been a major enviromentalist but this poem helped me as I'm sure it helped many others.

As I read this I imagined a tree saying to me, "I am the Tree D****t" it made me chuckle and I know it is a serious matter but the poem was truly cute to me. I have noticed a few on this site standing up for trees and their rights to live freely. Very good write and yes I did enjoy it!

Tell you what , combined with a nice picture like the one you have put up with this , this has the potential to be used as a poster or a slogan in save nature campaigns .
