My Love

My Love

A Poem by AleyshaRosa

the intake of breath
a single teardrop of sweat
a sweet kiss
burning on my lips
setting fire to my blood
igniting my nerves
soft hands
crawl across my skin
sinking into my flesh
a hot blush
an eyelash flutter
the world spins
whirls
swirls
silent
then a quiet falls
whispers chant
the secrets of the moment
we were incapable of uttering

This definitely reminds me of something. I sometimes think that it's a shame that when we're in the moment our minds scramble and claw, never able to quite find the words we want. Our tongues become tied and we cannot speak what's in our heart because our minds are so fried they dropped the ball.

A nice write. It was...enticing.

Intimate write with a touch of sensuality in it...
Great work.
