I love the honesty in this poem MJ. Many of us have lived through this. Just know that time is a healer of wounds. I have seen love rekindled and relationships re-fostered by time. I have also seen people lose someone only to be the better for it. Only because it opened up the door for a real love or friend to come in. I liked the heart in this poem and I admire the thoughts behind it. Thanks for sharing.

we've all been through something like this, or at least something similar. The thing I would change is where it says, 'Love had turned to hate" change "had" to "has' would be my suggestion, but good job. People can think of something that happened in their own lives when they read this.
