Poetic Review: Two

Poetic Review: Two

A Poem by William Michael Reeves
"

A few reviews for thee from me

"
For Patricia's poem 'Skating On Paper'

Parched sunrise dries our ink
the heat of our blades dance.
Cutting the frozen pages, our writing rink.
Penning lost existence...

...fills the well in the sky,
spun words shape the sun.
In figures great circles cry
deformed imagination....

...appeared in a word,
silent spoken deja vu.
A thought you never heard.
My heart? Dark, beating blue.

We write the wrong to make it right
as sunsets fall on us tonight.

For Relic's poem 'These Mightiest Words' (a.k.a. Tim Suthern)

I ~ carry the weight of me.
The need to see what to try
for myself when asking why
the three you see unite to be
caught in love's gravity.

Me, myself and i...

Love ~ the feel of we as trust of me
will shove the doubt that hangs above
a way to free a laugh that loves in glee
and admiration
of all of you and me.

Loving love's love...

You ~ orbit all three of me
living jointly we are who
ordain the union, love's symbiocity
blessing what we do when we see
the strength of us is infinite and mighty!

We, I and you.

For Writergurl's poem 'It's Been Awhile'

When you do smile your death slips
Forgotten for a moment as our words play
When life turns your path on a new way
And the frown you wear clearly flips
It has its own style
Since death dies, when you smile!

I do this almost every day. I can't possibly post them all so I picked a few that had merit. I do recommend finding the poems and reading them then come back to this with those fresh in your mind. Thanks for the inspiration!!

The above lines stood out to me. When we open our eyes. We can see everything. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

I know, not everyone likes these (flipping a poet's poem).
But
I love it. The mind spinning as the wheels churn. Then Bam! Something brand new is spit out.

I like what you did here, Bill. Not just mine but the other two. You've taken each poem and made a kind of mirror image with added sentiments. This is creatively done. Nice job. :))))
