Did I tell you?

Did I tell you?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

A wise person is thankful for what he has.

"

Did I tell you?

I don't remember if I told you how beautiful you are.

I have allowed so many things to blind my eyes.

Allowing disappointment to steal my smile and laughter.

I know.

If you left me.

I would become lost again.

I have twisted up my life in useless dreams.

Victories seem so far away.

Now I know.

You are my  only sweet dream.

That  I  have  gathered in my time of living.

I want to tell you.

I love you more than my own life.

Without you.

I would have no purpose.

Your love for me is a blessing.

A gift to a man so thankful for you.

Thankful for a kind lady  that touched his life.

I love you.

Your words are beautiful truth Coyote. This poem is a jewel to put in the crown of your love. It matches her beauty, as the photo shows. Eloquent, lyrical, tender...a song to the person whose love must never be taken for granted...in good times and bad...”Did I tell you?” In this poem, you did. Superb!

It is true that people go on following pointless dreams and ignore the people who have stayed by their side always. And the poem is subtle yet powerful.
Great work, sir!

I wish the boy who broke up with me would tell me that once again :(

Very beautiful. I love it. The lady you are talking about must be so lucky to have you. Not many men have the courage to say that. Very sweet :)

It is nice to hear a man tell his woman these words. This is a man being a real man to the woman in his life and who needs to hear the words, deserves to hear the words.
