A very feminine and mysterious kind of write by you D, one that makes me anticipate what's going on. Was she contemplating suicide? Does she change her mind once confronted by the warm light of the sun? What is she wondering...a new beginning, a new life? Where did she come from? Or maybe, I'm totally wrong in my interpretation! Yes, so many questions plague my brain as I take in this piece. You offer some nice images, captivating the reader on a brief, anonymous journey of this woman, of you[?]. In all of its mystery this poem offers a finality of hope and I get the feeling you are going to add more to this piece. I like it!
Very soothing words and imagery. This poem seems to be a foretelling almost, like setting a scene in a story. It leaves the reader with a question, though. What is our protagonist wondering? In a way, the setting in this poem could be a place we've all been at one time - wondering...
Beautifully written and wonderfully flowing. I got images with just the first line, somewhat of a montage of images really. Very expertly put down and awesomely short, it has the power of a full novel!
There are several qualities characteristic to your work, making it yours and yours alone. No matter what the content, I feel strength, maturity, peacefulness....mystery. Allure. You never reveal all, and I like that very much. You soothe the soul. My soul.
So many times I find that a shorter piece carries more intensity, particularly one such as this. There must be a helluva wind around lately because this is the second work I've read that deals with the wind...lol.
I felt every single line of the read. Those last two lines add mystery to this beautiful piece, Dani.

This is a beautiful write Dani, I love the way the poem reaches out and touches me. The sentimental valve that brushes my face as I wonder about wonderingbeautiful write.

A Noiseless Patient Spiderby Walt Whitman
A noiseless patient spider,
I mark'd where on a little promontory it stood isolated,
Mark'd how to explore the vacant vast surrounding,
It launch'd fort.. more..
