Not Recent

Lately I’m watching sophisticated movies

And I guess they are kina decent

But I haven’t seen a good cowboy flick

No, not anywhere recent

 

What ever happened to Tom Mix

And who was it had that horse Trigger

And there was Wyatt Earp and Tonto

Where are they all gone now, go figure

 

Then I put on muh western boots and hat

And that thing in the mirror gave me a clue

What I saw looking back out at me

Said them cowpokes were totally through

 

Best I can do now is wear them boots

And talk with a real western drawl

And on Saturday night, me’n the misses

Mosey on down to the square dancin hall

So true Dave, we don’t get them Westerns any more. I used to love them years ago. Still put your boots on and try watching Strictly instead, for the dance moves.

got re-hooked lately on "Hell on Wheels" which I watched many moons ago but because I have a continually deteriorating short memory span I can watch the whole thing again as if I hadn't seen it the first time

We really enjoyed it
There was also a female bit part done by someone who looked exactly like you!!
