Beatrice the barfly sat at the saloon

Waitin fer Bart, she’d left him some room

They were gunna hit the trail, rodeo stuff

Both Beatrice and Bart were purdy tough

 

But booze also had a purdy tough pull

To this Hombre and Hombrete it was a real pill

Nothin could happin till least takin one sip

This day, it would be delayin their trip

 

Barfly and Barguy kept tipping it back

Till lights out, and them both loosing track

No moral to this tale, just a couple a drunks

Ending up smellin like a couple a skunks

 

The bartender, a weight lifter named Hugh

With these two, knew just what to do

Onto the boardwalk he threw the soused pair

With their rodeo day ending up, down there

Very funny Davie, I like the drunk pair, but as to the rodeo, not sure. Have been to some and i think they are putting themselves in harm's way... Nice piece...
