Intentions

Intentions

A Poem by Deandra Dawn

Intentions

My intentions are masked
 by the immediate disposition of
clouded judgment and
horrible regulation of
my conscious mind
Submerged in the reality of
how
 and is attached to
why
Why question the freedom of admonition?
The intolerable conditions of an upset soul
wandering aimlessly in search of a warm place
 in a cold world
Degenerates capturing the very essence of
 your mind

Something a little different from my usual...just a few thoughts I scribbled onto paper. Will turn it into something more later on.

If i have ever yet to state the need to make your work spoken word, on a hollow wooden stage, Peter O'Toole comes to mind. Or better yet, Oliver Reed, one spot light, the passage, the silence, than the roar of the audience.

Yet again, impressed passed words.

"wandering aimlessly in search of a warm place in a cold world.." Isn't that so true. We all have those kinds of needs and spend our lives searching for them. I love how you called this a "scribble.." A profound scribble..indeed.

Thank you friend :)
Im new, so sorry im my comment is way off...but...

I like this, it flows well and reads perfectly. It feels like a poem written for everyone, capturing that feeling we all get of being slightly lost in our contaminated judgement. The layout is also v. nice, and kind of gave me the image of Cathy from Wuthering Heights towards the end "wandering aimlessly in search of a warm place/in a cold world" definitely gave me the wandering Cathy vibe. Absolute no suggestions to make because this is beautifully crafted.

All the best
