Blame, Hearts, Poems and Brokenness (Collab' with YumnaKay)

A Poem by Chase Dylan
"

A collaboration with YumnaKay...

"
White-flames light gray names on the wall of shame, while pain is believed to be the seed of greed that fillets our brains
...Seamlessly...
Vile release of craving and I scream, the butterfly sting of transparent opiates leave me stinger-less like a male honey bee, fails, money-trees, and right-of-way...
The way crawls of chaos-dust laced with lunar-graves, fight the lay-away sensation of a crow eating your fate, and sashay away...
 Princess of blame.

As an unknown band of a faraway land in the sands of time, caught betwixt the greasy slime of sublime thyme, rang out in brain-dead rhyme, I strive to achieve the hectic highs and lows of a life spent otherwise, but now time flies
 ...No compromise...
Just a vague realization of recreational hallucination, manipulation coupled with ruffled mixtures of pictures engraved on the inside of my grave, reenactment of Satan's chimes as my mind lulls blindly, in fact dulls the excruciating pain...
As you, Prince of my demise.
 Still rule my heart faintly...

Faintly or not, I'm not a saint, the hearts in the paint, and a swathe of harm comes from loving a card taint
As a lark starts to sing for me, but no sound abounds, tempting duress
 ...I simmer...
My nouns are thin and drowning in a sea of crowns, my pain surrounds my frown, but still I round out syllables
Hard-turned gullible, silk worth drivel, I use a felt-tipped stain to melt my syllabus like veal
Heal the wilting flower, still ripping hours, that powerful sensation of dripping sour dirt, my earth is shattered and lurching to the side of orbit...
 Hope you know it...
Princess of poets.

Oh don't I know it, blame, hearts, poems and brokenness...
Swimming in deep waters and lapping around murky weed hopelessly, I refuse to admit defeat sordidly
 Sorta crawling back, while
...Again and again...
Thrown into the ocean's heft, what are you besides an empty vessel, wherein a figment of my imagination lies, while a glimmer of hope sparks, making me look up to the skies
I withdraw from this state of non-being to a universe full of calamity, yet my soul searches, still reaches out to you...
Sweet Prince of broken screams.
Only you...

broken screams of two poets in conversation...trying to figure it all out...feeling the inadequacies of being a poet and not being able to say it strongly enough...love the stream of consciousness in-rhyme within this piece...and done so well that except for the back and forth of the conversation, feels like one voice..

what a blend.

What an expansive post.. so many tangents to decipher, so many fine phrases within an almost unconventional framework of thought.

Congratulations to you both.

Thank you, Man of Words...
"while pain is believed to be the seed of greed that fillets our brains"

that fillets our brains

fillets
our brains

fillets, that's brilliant imagery. I need to read more, I've never thought to use half the words you've put on paper.

There's so much, so many layers to this. It's amazing how 3-dimensional 2-dimensional words can be.

Thanks for the read, I read it 3 times! keep up the good work, and same for YumnaKay, due to it being a collab.

I'm still shaken by these powerful words. There is a lot to contemplate. It's phenomenal, and I think my favourite element of it was how you tied in royal figures as metaphors. Brilliant!
