外人 (Gaijin)
first time trying something so different from sonnets like a haiku :) Hope you like it :)
PS: I'm not good at couting syllabs in english (or in poetry xD) so i may got it wrong, if i did tell me :)

About your author's note, I too have trouble counting them. As for the haiku, nice poem I love that it is in Latin and what it means, thanks for the translation and meaning. Very nice lines in this, really nice, enjoyed.

I really enjoyed the simplicity of this piece. It is a bit off if you're going for a haiku. Your first line is 4 syllables, 2nd is 5 syllables, and the last line is 5 also. But I like the general idea, and you're brave for trying! Molto bene!
