Riddle A

Tried my first real riddle (the 3rd h riddle, the first i've written, can't be guessed by anyone not belonging to my english class), try to guess it :) !!

My name starts with C,

Women get joyful when me they see,

They scream cheerfully on Valentine's day,

When their fair boyfriends give me to them,

I may be black, i may be white,

But i always cause my owner's delight,

Some girls can't stand me, some boys instead want me,

They give me no mercy, they swallow me,

I melt in their mouths slowly,

My sweet taste spreads quickly,

Guess what's my name,

That's this riddle's aim.

Rhyme scheme is: AABCDDEEFFGG
The answer is ... chocolate :)

Haha this is hilarious. I was actually clueless on what it could be:P Then I saw your author's note and saw that the answer is chocolate. So I went and re-read it and it all made sense. Hehe outstanding job. I loved the rhyme scheme by the way :)
