Hail courageous friend and esteemed Poet;

Brave Poet who dost skillfully bear forth the Shield

that deflects those insidiously nefarious lies

seeking to overtake and domesticate

the minds of sheepishly ignorant men,

whilst wielding the Mighty Sword of Truth!

Truth exposed, in severing ominously heinous lies,

severing lies in twain of revealed as empty and vain,

sliest of lies, fueled by hypocrisy and traitorous treachery,

craftiest of lies, which do feign friendship, and hope's salvation

in return for mind's permission to cancerously metastasize,

and capitalize upon men's foolishly chosen love of ignorance.

For it is ignorance that blinds the mind in delusional highs,

minds which discern not that reality of their lives

given as expendable collateral damage's sacrifice,

bodies broken, livelihoods destroyed, loved ones mourned,

with only their shed blood poured out upon the Golden Altars

of their gullibility's stupefaction of retained ignorance.

Only their blood, shed, is hilariously worshiped in behest's jest,

as it doth trickle upon the killing floors of just one more War,

one more War to end all Wars, one more War in pursuit of Peace,

one more War of the Sheep to fleece in leading the Herd,

that Herd which is Humanity, into that night of its ultimate plight,

a plight that is a blight upon Nature -- called extinction's end …

Dost Humanity possess one friend, honest and true?

Indeed, Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU ...

For there is no doubt that friend of Humankind is you!

Quite a tribute here Marvin to a poet who is not afraid to speak out on the difficult issues where others may remain silent. Courageous and brave indeed in our war torn world. You have done him proud. Very nicely composed. An admirable piece.
