V. Dripping Red

V. Dripping Red

A Chapter by Green Regol

I don't respond;

He knows full well

Why I am red;

Bleeding red.

"Passion!" he cries,

"And now she dies

After the lies

And glum goodbyes!"

I feel venom

Inside my veins.

My blood, my red;

Poison red.

My heart, it stops,

Freezes, yet burns;

My ears, they pop;

My soul, it yearns

To dance in rain,

Live in the stain

Of what is red;

Dripping red.
