XVII. Shocked and Red

XVII. Shocked and Red

A Chapter by Green Regol

Although I want

To shed a tear,

I'm nonchallant;

I volunteer

To take White's hand,

Fold it in mine -

I cannot stand

To intertwine.

My fingers are Red's,

Iv'ry severed.

I cut the threads

To him tethered.

I grin, I laugh,

I wave goodbye

To what is red,

Shocked and red.
