A vampire bite that’s what I need

A vampire that is what I crave to be

A werewolf you are

So I cannot win

A vampire loving a werewolf is

Simply a sin

Werewolf and a vampire

Simply can only be friends

I cannot love a werewolf of a man

I need the night, the darkness

But for some reason I can't

Stop wanting your kiss

I crave a vampire not a simple pup

So that is simply

Why only friends we can be

Your skin is so warm

But it's the coldness that I want

So please just accept that in the end

We'll always just be friends.

This is such a fierce, fun piece, playing so well around the darkness! On the surface you have the element of friendship, and underlying this you deal with issues of prejudice (made me think of dear Remus Lupin...) Great write!
