Chapter 1

A Chapter by J.C. Rabanes

'What?!' asked by King Euphatos with madness. The messenger was unable to respond to the mad king instead he only stare in its eyes and get scared. 'Traitor!...' 'After I helped him and his men over its victory in its invasion of the Kingdom of Gepetite, and now he is interested to fight against us to have our Kingdom?!' In those moments, King Euphatos got totally mad and throws a threat against the kingdom of Imus. 'Tell your God damned king, in these days we won't let you conquer our land and even I won't let you touch the sands in our waters.' the king said. 'Your highness!' said the messenger signalling to leave the palace. While the messenger is walking away the king uttered words and shouted. 'And tell him also, the relationship between our kingdoms are scrap...' '...because from now on, enemy is what I see in your eyes.' shouted by the king as the messenger went out on the doorway. A day after the messenger arrived and the news is quickly spread all over the kingdom of Revion, King Euphatos ordered to call his well trained, well organized and great warriors including his sons; Euphatos II and Machus, to get prepared and to train the warriors for a new war. A day after, the four of the best warriors the king called has arrived, they are in every part of the kingdom representing the three big cities. They are Apero and Timothy from the city of Phillean, Epethite from the city of Haussey and Aschello from the city of Trauso. Aschello was the king's favorite warrior among them because this warrior saved him from the ambush organized by the rebels in the land of Trauso during the time of its campaign in uniting the three cities under the kingdom he called Revion. 'Imus is going to invade us...' the king said. 'What?!' Euphatos II responded. 'That is why we are going to fight them back or else it is the end for our kingdom.' 'But father, we are still recovering, our men are still recovering from the war against the Kingdom of Gepetite.' Machus said. '...and in fact, many of our warriors died on that war and we need new breed of men to do that. What we have now is not enough.' he added. 'So you mean you are against my plan? So you just let them enslave us?' the king said. 'No, father. Fighting is not the only option in protecting our kingdom. We should talk to them and pursue them not to invade us. Maybe we can negotiate with them.' 'Negotiate what? Enemies are to be killed, not to be served!' the king responded. The king looked in the eyes of Aschello and saw the fire covering its soul and the will to fight burning like a coal; hard but so dense and broad. 'If you're going to fight, I'll fight with you. My king.' Aschello said. 'It's my pleasure to go with you, your highness.' Epethite said. After he heard the decision of the two warriors, he asked Timothy and Apero. 'You? Timothy? Apero? can I rely on your men to fight with me?' 'For the kingdom, our king.' they responded. 'Okay, if that's what you all gonna do, then I'll go with you.' Euphatos II inserted. But out of space, Machus expresses his thoughts and to tell them that he is against them. 'It is not the only option, we should talk to them first!' 'Machus, Machus... you are still young indeed.' a painful insult by his brother. '...in this world soften heart is not the gonna make you survive, it will be the reason of your fall.' he added. '...if its necessary to kill then do, for you to have the peace you wanted in life.' he further added. 'Is it be called peace if you kill? Is it be peace that you live in peace because you killed? Maybe for you it is because your heart is a stone!' Machus said to his brother. 'My beloved brother, to the kind of thinking you have now, it will be the reason of your fall.' he added. 'You know? that style of yours is the style of the cowards!' Euphatos II said while in his eyes shows he is angry with Machus. 'Yeah, we can say that I am a coward, but you a hundred fold!' he responded. Due to the intensity of the emotions Euphatos II felt to his brother, he smack him in his face and it fell down to the floor and he said. 'You do have no right to tell me like that!' Euphatos II shouted. 'Stop that!' the king interrupted. 'It can't help if you keep fighting.' he said.

This is a really good read. It succeeded in keeping me interested until the very last line. There are a few spelling and grammar errors though, but those didn't really affect what I thought of the story. I can't wait to read the next chapter! :)

could you tell me of them, errors, fpr further edit? thnks for the review. :)
This is a very exciting story. It's fun to meet other people from other lands and help them defeat their kingdoms in some way, or tread down paths in the guise of war or exploration,
