The Mirrored Lake

.... this mornings thoughts ....

The mirrored lake, 

reflects,

tree tops, 

birds in flight, 

morphing clouds,

transient light. 

 

Morning awaits

the call to wake.

A stone cast,

pitched sky high, 

(the never ending sky)

glides in freedom to its zenith, 

flips,

spins in a

moment of earthward pull.

Plop! 

The mirrored lake shatters, 

welcoming the stone 

to the immersive 

undercurrent.

Amplification at entry point 

allows the disturbance, 

breath of surprise. 

Resonation grasps hold,

replacing confusion, 

with understanding, 

gifting knowledge, 

of how to accept,

all that is.

The mirrored lake

reflects the new… 

All new, 

fresh eyes,

each moment.
