Chained in Misery (part I)A Poem by LivingDeath
I dont know how to explain this,
this undying torture within every second, the pulse beneath my skin that rips my flesh to shreds - It's unknown to me... My insides caged within its skeletal frame; clawing, digging, tearing; suffering till it's out.. Just like me... Just like me in this world we live in.. Chained to where I stand; Barred from what I really want in life; To feel, To love, To live... Still it's unknown to me.. Our steps forward have led us backwards, as to live is to be evil, if we lived we'd meet the devil; yet now is what we've won. It's the voices we obey that don't understand us. That deny us dreams of which we sewed. Tearing our hearts and minds to pieces shattering like glass against a stone; our hearts; still looking for a home...
