Dear Agony

Dear Agony

A Poem by LivingDeath

Dear agony
you and me inharmony
no one knows what we truly see.

I am with you all the time
you're there when I'm not fine
your life the same as mine.

Over and over, repetitious
pain like rain, so malicious
part of me so propitious.

Though you leave me emancipated
it feels though I'm decapitated
my life utterly annihilated.

So leave me dead
let me drip the crimson red
as you linger in my head.

Dear agony
you and me inharmony
no one knows what we truly see.

Very sad, but a very good read! It's amazing when you can turn misery into beauty :3 And I think that's the trick.
Great job!

Beautiful and sad

Dark yet not sad. It feels like the battle between one's own solitude and the separation has come to be at peace. It reminds me a lot of a song by a Mexican rock group, Cafe Tacuva, called "Soledad" (Loneliness)...

Wow this is really good! Very dark but I like how you described everything with such detail. Very good write.

This is a very dark write, this is a kind of writing I have never really been able to put on paper, because it makes me feel vulnerable, so i applaud you for being able to share this.

So leave me dead
let me drip the crimson red
as you linger in my head.

this stanza sticks out the most to me, I'm not quite sure why, but i enjoyed this piece very much. can't wait to read more.
