Chapter (7) HAY FEVER

Chapter (7) HAY FEVER

A Chapter by MAD ENGLISHMAN

HAY FEVER.

The flowers in the garden,

swayed gently in the breeze.

And they made lots of pollen

Which always made me sneeze.

The doctor gave me tablets,

He said “Take one every day,

they will stop you sneezing,

and your runny nose will go away.”

The small white pills were working

For a while, but then the trees,

produced their flowers and pollen,

and again it made me sneeze.

I told the doc about my nose.

my itching eyes and wheezing.

He said “Umm I wonder if these yellow ones”

Will help to stop you sneezing.

Each week he gave me pills,

Of different colours and size,

But nothing stopped the sneezing,

Or my itching eyes.

And then it stopped. The doc said

“It’s been difficult you know,

to find the pill to help you.”

I said “I thought it was the snow.”

Cute. Apparently Mother Nature has a better handle on the situation than the docs!

I liked this poem, what a stupid doctor though haha, as if he couldn't just work out that it was hay fever.
The rhyme scheme was great, and I loved the storyline.
Keep on writing :)

Yup and it's free.
It's a most difficult thing to handle. Fortunately, I don't suffer from any allergies, but I know a lot of people that do. I certainly hope relief comes your way soon!

...and here's a "god bless you", just for further reference! ; )

hehe That was very cute piece of work. Many people are allergic to pollens and Its very difficult to handle this thing. And only "The snow" will work.
I hope it gets better for you darling :) Have a good day :)
