BLISSFUL SUMMER

A poem about the beauty and serenity of summer.

I gazed and gazed at the blue sky

Oblivious of the clouds passing by

The gentle breeze of the warm day

Awakened in me the mood to play

The green grassy fields of Summer

Embroiled Mother Earth in green cover.

Kinda reminded me of the poem daffodils...It really did showcase the beauty of summer, but yeah, often times, the heat is way more than what flesh and blood can stand. Lol. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful write :)
