The Desert of Disregarded Thoughts

The Desert of Disregarded Thoughts

A Chapter by Carl Taylor

Fully rested in the night grip of reality The Being and His Heart pushed through the ravaging desert of disregarded thoughts and dreams that would have torn their skin, if they were cursed by it.

After pushing through the winds that were pushed by the frustration of unexpressed feelings, The Being and His Heart saw a chimney, left by the inhabitants of the desert. The nomadic inhabitants of the desert of disregarded thoughts were the abandoned imaginary friends of years past. Past the smoke of read words from the chimney, The Being lost his breath at the sight of the door seen from the tree and pushed on with more strength than he had known.
