You nailed this Pat. I have a picture in my head of a scene of nature that just stops you in your tracks, thought, speech or being in the middle of something that stopped being important and just watched the spectacle of nature in silent wonder. No need for thoughts to interrupt, just a knowing that you have a smile on your face and truly are in the moment of being.
To fit into 17 syllables what others spend a lifetime trying to find the words is truly impressive and one day I hope to get there too 😊

we are having one of those days here today...
It is interesting how seasons and weather relate so much to our lives...the passion we feel for it, more than just the physical...but just going through life with that wonder...asking questions, trying to understand exactly what it's all about---I take much pleasure in learning more and more about how mother nature ticks and what makes humans tick.

you read my poem "Persuasion". Your review is interesting; it seems to me that as we become older, we have more curiosity about so many things. Babies are innocent and very curious. We are not innocent; but still curious. There is definitely something about "thunder" and "lightening". Have you created a poem about those two phenomenons. If I had a "Request" for a "poem" written by you-- it would be about those two celebrating something. You are a "good Sport" to

wow! how sublime! "I rest my Wonder" ... not sure what category this falls under .. it is certainly about nature but does bring in us humans ... in an uplifting "....Wonder" ... I suppose it is a senryu since humans are involved. i have not read one from you before. i think this one is delightful ...there is a bit of human foible in "being seduced by Thunder" ... no doubt about it .. we loose our heads over it sometimes .. love that closing line .. i rest my wonder ... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we can solve the mysteries of life another day eh!?
