sorry Pryde, not Edward, but Lestat... but for me it would be "The Queen of the Damned" Asheka (probably spelled wrong), I would even give up chocolate for her bytes... these are real vampires, not these vegan types.. they NEED human blood dripping from fangs and then feeling the angst of guilt!! HA..

Just be careful Pryde, the way you read just might attract one of these creatures.... don't let anyone into your house you are not sure of, even if they offer you chocolate... er.. Pryde would you like some chocolate???!!! I promise I won't byte... er.. ;0)

I enjoyed the flow of your reading, and of your words, in spots I felt the rhythm of "T'was the Night Before Christmas" so it fit a "T'was the Night Before Halloween" poem.
I am sort of an Anne Rice vampire kind of guy.

I went back and re-listened, around 39 seconds to 46 or 47 seconds, sort of an "all through the house, not a creature was stirring" feel to it there. That is what prompted my comment.

I came here from review to meet you, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised :) I love this poem, the tease of the link and the reading that followed, the emotion you expressed and story told, I would love to see more of this on the café..
it's how I imagine poetry was meant to be shared, have you ever thought about inserting your readings directly into your pages? You could set it not to auto run if you wanted it to be the reader’s decision.
