Touch

Touch

A Poem by Robin
"

sudden reminiscence

"
and there you were

a daydream in your delicate palm

I watched your eyes race the sky

and heard your sigh

as you fell to your knees

to the mirror of dark waters

beckoning a rainbow from sullen clouds

my Time machine

of crickets and songbirds

the summer wind , and a million stars

a music box

as the universe spun around us

brilliant and huge

this unknowing , this adventure we called love

between goddess and prince

a violin and bow

stillness

permeating silence

such are the secrets

of touch , and the sky

and the mandala

of her eyes ...

A wonderful exploration of love, relationships, nature and the harmony between them all. I've always struggled when writing about these sorts of things and I admire how you've done it, the delicate yet vivid images...A true joy to read :) thank you and well done..

Thank you
I'm always amused by your writings. A solemn jouney of beauty and tragedy. However; there's a certain amount of sadeness....the joy of your words shadowed, by yesterdays sorrow.

I do intend to create atmospheres , happy you felt this one
Rosin makes the the glove hold tight to the bull rope, they have eight seconds together, Man and bull, about the time it takes to read this poem. Not very long, yet here it is still upright in my head a vision, like the lights and crowd's cheers, scoring the way we painted their night Well done Robin.

such is the power of a moment , and thank you for the allegorical comment , I liked that .
You write of a "touch" that is in touch with "a million stars"-- wow, that's cool:)
