Ahh- the sonnets are very different from free verse. It is all making great sense now… this one rhymes throughout, whereas free verse flows but does not particularly need rhyming. I’d say this is less of my style, but that’s a personal preference. This poem is articulated beautifully… the image of love and what it’s like to be infatuated and deeply into a partner. There’s something that makes Sonnets so graceful…

Ahhh, just as I suspected, Lisa, you're a true sonneteer at heart. One can tell right away … the reader who feels and loves them, and the reviewed who wrote them.
It's good to know that each, the picture and color choice you've mentioned, though, pleasing to the mind's-eye, are enhanced or diminished accordingly, by virtue of the sonneteer's quality of ink.
From your gracious accolades, I've scant doubt you think my Sonnet enhanced both picture and color.

well now for sure I feel stupid and maybe I should check my brain memorizing ability some time? of course after You mentioned it beneath my photo I remembered, it's still one of the most beautiful paintings that touches me really deep and I find 85% if not all of me in her, makes me think of reusing it as my avatar here?! as for your sonnet, who dares to say anything about our Master poet but that it is a real masterpiece, one thing I've learned about your poetry during all these years, You always combine life and love as one, You speak of life as it's love, and You speak of love as it's life, not surprising for the human being I know You are made of, and all come gently as a healing grace. beautiful Syr❤️

If there is anything I ever learned about You in all our years serving together on poetry sites, its that I've never once thought of you as stupid.
Time can thin one's memory in detail of something beautiful, but never the quality and essence of how it felt.
What you say is true, for I, too, can see so very much of You in this painting's gently graceful, peaceful, and incomparably lovely figure (I can conceive of no more perfect avatar for you) … the Sonnet, as-well, strikes me the same.
Your praise and heart-dancing compliments of my humble poetic efforts, never fail to encourage and gratify an olde bard's hopes that he's deeply pleased at least one reader.
The ways you speak of me and my writing are, indeed a healing "Light" … and warmly embraced, in so many ways.
