Magic Carpet

Magic Carpet

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

A message for the Class of 2013

"

Go to the window

of your comfort zone

and leap

onto the magic carpet that awaits

Command  it

to take you

to soaring heights

and sights unseen

Eyes open ~

          don’t miss a thing ~

          the ride will be over

                   in a camera flash

The real magic

          is not the transportation,

but your transformation

Thanks, Riley!
I love riding on magic carpets but you don't see many of them nowadays there were loads around in the 50's, 60's and 70's where have they all gone that's what I want to know!

Id have given wings them wings myself but Red Bull have cornered that market now......
i hope they listen to what you have said in this poem...

so many young people today seem to just exist....they have their text messages, video games and fast food...
and so many don't seem to strive for anything else...they avoid the challenges of life rather than embrace them...
i hope this class heeds your profound words.
