I really like the idea that this lone leaf holds the secret of falling in peace. You show us the beauty and the significance of haiku. In the moment as everything moves, there are gems to be captured like this one. You've plucked this one from the sky as it feel and set it up as a monument for that process of finding peace.

Hi Rita. A beautiful traditional haiku. Perfect 5/7/5 syllabic form. You paint a delightful picture of a birch leave falling to the ground that I can see clearly in my mind's eye. Flow is good as is the line to line transition and breaks. Lovely depth of feeling. I like the aha moment in line three, the contrast from the leaf, once alive, now falls to the ground - resting in peace... and allusion to death. Well done. Write on!
