Mona the Melancholy Muse

Mona the Melancholy Muse

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

Thanks for the inspiration, Frieda!

"

Mona the Melancholy Muse

Her morale was as low as her shoes

When asked why her writes

Were as dark as the nights

She said, “All my pens have the blues.”

So I bought her a new pack of ink

In hopes that her mood would not sink

Now she spends all her time

Writing whimsical rhyme

And her quills are all quite in the pink!

You are welcome...:)
Colorful my friend. This is just another example of a well timed, well presented Rita poem. It was fun to read and actually sing along with for the melody of your work if so easy on the eyes and ears.
