Turkey for Dinner

Turkey for Dinner

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

an ironic limerick

"

A turkey who came to my door

thought I would eat him for sure

“Don’t worry,” I said,

“I’m an utter veg-head.”

So now feeding him is my chore.

Of course - can't be rude to the little guy!
Careful what you wish for. Tee her.

LOL! Thanks for the advice, Pryde!
Ha!
He knows what time of year it is, and he'd heard of you and your veg-head ways...
He came to your house to hide out till the holiday season is over.
Pretty smart, for a turkey...

I wouldn't be surprised if you got a visit from Arnold the pig this coming Easter...

I love your author's note...........that turkey has perfect company then, though I know that is not what you meant......lol

Lol! Of course, I'd have to figure out where to keep him here in the city! :)
Cute WITH a logical ending...
