Dressed for Snow

I’ve donned my toasty snowpants,

a hat, my boots, some gloves,

twice around I’ve snugly wound

that homemade scarf Mom loves

 

I’m wearing seven layers,

as warm as warm can be

I’m dressed for snow from head to toe ~

but first, I have to pee…

This is a really fun poem. Reminds me of Shel Silverstein, and my six year old son, who actually laughed out loud when I read it to him. Great job. It's fun, it's for kids AND adult, it's youthful, but it's not childish. Perfect.
