Fish or Cut Bait

Fish or Cut Bait

A Poem by Rita L. Sev

"

A fisherman’s conundrum

to fish or cut the bait

is much like a busy poet’s plight

If only there were two of us

I wouldn’t have to choose ~

one could do some reading,

one could write.

Ha! Thanks, Blue! A little of this and a little of that, I suppose!

It's the only way....always a pleasure Rita.
I don't see how one can be done without the other.

i hear you...i so just want to read poetry, especially here...but then the inspiration comes from reading and the pen starts moving or the fingers start punching the keys..and all good intentions find themselves lost in the words...one way or another.
