Whine Stopper

Whine Stopper

A Poem by Rita L. Sev

"

There’s air in my lungs

My neurons are firing

My heart keeps a-beating,

My eyes still admiring

There’s food in the pantry,

A roof overhead

Got clothes on my back

And I’m happily wed

If there’s ever a day

When I grumble and whine

Remind me of these ~

I’m doing just fine

Thank you, Ladysue! I have to admit, I had fun with that title! :)
So true how we sometimes forget to count our blessings.

Enjoyed this fun little reminder that we mostly have it good compared to some.

Beccy.

Thank you, Beccy! :)
Inspirational! Despite everything, we still have everyday blessings to be thankful for all the time. And I agree you did approach the subject with a wonderful sense of humor.

:) Thank you, dear Noodle - Laughter and gratitude = Life's greatest attitude! ;p
Can't help but smile. :)
Really fun little poem with big truth, yet some people despite all they have will still feel like they've been shafted. Enjoyed this one a lot. :-)

Thanks, Ance - yes, I know too many people who complain when they have it pretty well...
Love it! With an attitude like that, you will always be a grateful person...one who does not whine about the stupid bumps in the road. Truly, we are all so fortunate....but we often overlook that fact. I enjoyed this one. So upbeat! Lydi**

╰☆╮Really love this one. When I was in Puerto Lindo, Panama, I saw first-hand the way other people live and it has really made me appreciate what I've got. Great work!╰☆╮
