This is a previous version of Errant Knight.

Jousting windmills thrusting great beasts

Charging into fire for her release

Taking it to them, whom he cannot see

He Is brandishing the sword of chivalry

Living the words he so deeply became

Fighting for love honor and his good name

She is the unreachable mirage to be seen

His longing for her.. the impossible dream

He sees her so perfect so above the fray

He sings to her,  how she will love him someday

Stripped of his armer he is forced to wait

Held for the inquisition, and his new fate

Reminded of his delusions of grandeur and such

Chivalry is gone now... no more longing for her touch

She is there at his bedside... lost from within

Where is my errant knight?
