Chapter 10

In the morning, I found myself on comfy bed with cream satin blanket . I look my left, no one there. Then I look my surrounding, very nice atmosphere and smell scent also. Where am I? I look myself wearing white casual collar , is look like a man clothes. I sniff at the collar. The perfume is similar, is this Fird Grey clothes? I rise and seeing I am just wearing the top without pants . I blink my eyes multiple times . Who change my clothes? Is him? I go out from the room, seeing him drinking water from bottle with classical song in the living room's air. I step outside with my bare foot on the black marble floor. Is kind cool. Fird Grey turn his head and sees me. "Morning Serene," he remark. I shock and give him a smile. "Morning Fird,"

He rise from he sit on the couch and walk towards me then touch my forehead. "Ok, is normal,"

I just look at him without clothes only his sweatpants. "What happen last night?" I ask. Yeah, what happen? All I can remember is sound of drum end of Michael Buble song . He smirk , "You had high fever, is that why you did not answer me immediately during the I requested on invitation ?"he ask back. I just keep quite silent. Yeah I have shock high fever whenever I attend a big event since I was little. I look to my body . "Do you change my clothes?"

He go to the kitchen and open the fridge. "Yes,"

"Do you see all of it?"

"Yes,"

Gasp. "So do we had ..."

"Serene, I did not those thing,"he look at me from the fridge without waiting for me to finish. Speechless, I can say is ok, but somehow my half my heart feel sad. What? Why? Do I need those stuff ? I think is not that compulsory to do if he did not say anything special between us . "Please , let's breakfast, then I will send you home then,"

Then I remember about Echa, she must be creep out when I am not home yet , neither Emily. "Where is my handbag?" I ask. "It is on the table,"I run towards the table coffee infront of the television . And take my phone from my bag. Seeing so many misscall and messages from Echa and Emily. I swallow my saliva. Then my phone receiving call from Emily. Immediately I accept it.

"Miss? Where are you? Are you ok?"

I grouch and smiles hearing Emily's worrieness make me feel guilty. "I am sorry, Emily.  I am perfectly fine, I am with Mr Grey's room,"

Emily grouch. "Oh dear, Miss. Are you ok?"

I sit on the couch. "Yes, I had shock fever last night,now I feel better.  I will be home later, are you in office now?"

" I see. Yes, Miss , I am in the office. Miss Echa is quite worry about you, Mis,"she tell

"Ok, I will call her later. But I won't come to the office, I am on leave today,"

"Alright Miss, I will send to email incase there is problem."

"Ok,thank you Emily,"

"Is alright , Miss,"

Then hang up the calls, and I make another calls to Echa. She sound very upset and lastly she ask whether Fird Grey and I did something or not. Yeah, its normal for her to know when her friend suddenly in man's room with white collar of man clothes but nothing happens and nothing to be worried about.

"I will send you home immediately, I have flight to do this afternoon "he put his fork on the plate and take a napkin wipe his lips. I look at him wearing his pilot uniform , is really give me turn on. But he acting so different since last night. Like something bothering in his mind. He looks at me without saying words for him . I stand up and take my things from  the table,ready to go. Henry already ready infront of the room lift. Is this private mansion ? Fird Grey take his bag and hat from Henry before follow Henry from the back. And me walk his side. I am wearing red sleeveless and quarter of blue jeans with wedges shoes where he ask Henry to buy this morning. Is quite embarrassing when a man buy for me a clothes. In the lift, I standing beside of Fird Grey , Henry infront of us. I feel awkward. Is kind a like marriage couple . I grin silently. Fird Grey is look at his Mont Blanc watch. We arrive our destination to parking lots without talking. Even in the car as well. Awkward and depressing air for me to breath.

We arrive at my apartment's lobby. I walk out as Henry open the door for me. Fird Grey just sees me from the car. "Thank you for accompany me last night,"he said. Henry sit on his drive sit after send me infront of the gate lobby. I smiles towards him replying his thank you. Why I feel so much different around him? Am I shy because I sleep in his room? I guess so. So BMW M3 drive out from my apartment's compound. I walk into the lobby towards the lift and click up button. Take a on leave is better rather then walking to office bring this awkward feeling along it will be much stressful day.

Fird Grey look outside car. "Henry, I would like to take my day off tomorrow, I want to go out from KL,"he tell. Henry look at Fird Grey from the car mirror. "Alright , Sir,"

Fird Grey grouch. Feel uneasy with own feeling. He takes off his pilot's hat and put on his lap."Are you ok Sir?"

Fird Grey just stare outside with very heavy thoughts. " I don't know, I am afraid the door already arrive ?"

Henry speechless , and he just focusing his drive without asking any further.

Since that day, usually I receive emails from Fird Grey but it did not . Is he ok? If I were first to start our conversation it will be weird. I grouch and focusing more into my work this past 4 days. The weather also take place , very dark and always rain during at night. As I think about it, my Iphone ringing, I take it from on my table and accept the call.

"Hey sis,"hearing Mikhail from the call.

"Oh hai, Mikhail, what's wrong?"

He sound from somewhere at the beach. I just wait for him to talk.

"I am at Pulau Redang,"

"Why are you doing there?"

"I am having trip here with my subject's course,"

"Trip?"

"Yeah, have you come here before?"

"I did not, is that nice place?"

"It is, but currently always heavily rain here, and the weather were not that pleasant,"

"Oh really?" it looks all places having bad weather. "How long you staying there?"

"4 days starts from today,"

"Nice, maybe I can go there for a visit,"

"Really? The room is nice too, sis,"

"Okay, later I will reconfirm back to you ok? Please be safe there,don't get to near at the beach, always with the lecturers,"remind me to him. "I know sis, I already 19 years old, what do you expect?"

"I expect you to be responsible yourself until I did not say about your safety anymore,"

"Jeez, that's so strict,"

"Well I am,"

"Ok sis, I have to go now, the lecturer is calling for roll-call,"

"Oh alright, take care then,"

"Ok bye,"

"Bye,"

I put my Iphone on glass table. I grouch. Why I feel so distract with this emotion ? Am I worrying? I stand up and walk outside from my room. "Emily, do I have any meetings in this week?"I ask. Emily take her diary out and look into it. "No, Miss,"

I nod. "Alright then, I want to take off for 3 days , I am going to Pulau Redang at Terengganu,"

Emily look at me with her blinking eyes. "Terengganu?"

"Yes, Mikhail is currently having trip there,"

"I see, by car or flight , miss?"

Gasp. I look at her and think about it. Why it was difficult for me to take by plane? It is because is near? Or it because about Fird Grey? Or maybe the weather ? Maybe I won't disturb him of this trip. "Let's take by car,"I decide.

Emily writing something into her book , "Alright ,Miss,"

"Hey Mikhail !"shout a boy towards Mikhail after the roll-call meeting end. Mikhail look towards behind of him, seeing a man wearing his sweatpants and grey sweater looking towards at the sea. He seems familiar with that man but he just could not remember when. "Oi, Mikhail !"shout his friend again. He grouch, and look towards his friends then run . "What's wrong?"

"Nothing,"

"You like that guy?"

"You think I am gay?"

Mikhail's friend giggle and they follow the other student from the back.

"Say Rene, are you sure, going to Terengganu by car?"Echa ask me when I warming up the car's engine. And Emily putting our baggage into the bonnet."Yeah , I am coming, what about you? Are you coming?" since I was packed my clothes earlier she kept on puled to decide to go or not makes me suffocate. Echa smiles , "I want to since I did not have any plans for this break ,"Emily take her baggage from her back. Since when she pack? I grouch. "Ok then, I am glad you made up your mind, so hop in, I am driving,"

Echa smiles happily . "Ok !"so she take her sit at behind while Emily takes her sit beside me to navigate the roads. So we start our journey by 8 pm, and makes me missing the moments I spend with Fird Grey each this time. I grouch. Let him be, maybe he found his life ? Who knows? At least, tell me about it, not just being surprisingly quiet without any news. I guess he is not that type of man .

A bag put on the floor as we arrive to the chalet . Echa anchoring her body on the comfy bed . Emily takes her place on a bed beside of Echa's bed . I grouch and breath the air. I like it . I am tired  . "So, who want to take their shower first?"

"I want to go sleep, I am sleepy,"Echa said. I smile while shook one my head. "Seriously Echa?"

"Yeah, I just only change my clothes,"

"Smelly,"

"I am not,you are,"

"Ok then," I take my toiletries from my baggage and Emily take her clothes out from baggage. "Are you going take some bath later?"

"Yes Miss, but after you ," she said. I smiles and nod. "Alright then," I step into the bathroom and take my bath.

The next morning, I take some air along jogging . I feel better. The morning is having a good weather. I saw some students gathering having their first meeting. I saw Mikhail from behind hearing the talk carefully. He being good boy. Then jog into the fitness room using some of facilities. There are some tourism had their treatment. I miss to go this kind of treatment.Maybe I should to start over going to Fitness Celebrity . Yeah maybe I should join back with Echa. Then Echa call me asking me where I am, she invite me to have breakfast at Santapan Cafe. I accept then jog back to my room to take my shower.

"You know what? You should take the spa. It was awesome,"tell Echa after she had a sip of her drink. She wearing her galaxy maxi bohemian dress boat neck style and me wearing also white maxi bohemian dress along the boat neck. Much more feel free in this short term of vacation. Echa , Emily and I having girls talk , sometimes we laugh , gossiping like other girls do. I miss this kind of moment back then.

Then that afternoon, I am taking my breath while walking beach side with holding my sandal . My bare foot feels the sand flowing between my feet's nails. Ticklish. The clouds look heavy. Is going to be rain soon. I look infront, and my eyes rounded as I seeing a familiar man infront .

Swallowing my saliva and blink my eye multiple times, my breath become breathless. Is he really him? Why he is here? And what? He look at me while the winds looks like carrying the heavy cloud to be drop those tears to ground. The wind very strong at that moment. He look at me without any words. I hold my hair blowing aside. "Oh, Miss Zain, what's coincidence ?"he remark on me. I really don't know to reply since we did not communicate for 6 days . Is kinda weird for me talk with him. "Y-yeah,"I reply only one word that I can say now. "Where have you been?"I ask. Yes , that's borthering me all this time. "Taking some air?"he reply while seeing towards the ocean back.

"Are you having some problem?"I ask again.

"Do you really want to know?"

"Can I know?"

He smirks and look at me. "Serene, why do you know?"

"Because I worry about you did not talk with me all this time,"

He rise his right brow aside. "Excuse me? Are you waiting for me to talk with you? Are we having special romance?"

Breathless. I bite my lips. "Look Serene, I do said this before , don't put any high expectation on this,"

"That's my desire whether I want it to or not,"

"But I don't like it that way. And I did not want in this kind"

"Did I need to accept of your dominant request?"

Fird Grey speechless. I look at him having my tears seeing . I hate this kind of feeling. "So you did feel this kind of feeling when we going out?"he ask . "Why is that so difficult you to accept it and let me help your problem?"

"Why is difficult? That's not your position to know, that's my choice and I won't do it ! And helping me was not that easy !"

"Not my position? Not that easy? Am I that far beyond that position of my existence for help you?

"You have no rights on both kind"

Gasping and almost speechless. All I can say is now I am very disappointing of him saying those to me. But his face saying all those like a normal to say. Rising his voice was new for me. I hug my body, holding up this emotional, biting my lips . "Alright then, thank you ,"then I ran away along this sobbing which conquering my emotion. And Fird Grey grouch and feel uneasy for himself. Tears from the cloud fell down heavily later.

I look outside with hearing song title Almost Is Never Enough by Ariana Grande featuring Nathan Sykes from mp3. Crying and crying after so long, I was crying useless reason on a man who did not have little of romance.

Keep thinking

Why I am here? The sea breeze give me fall into sleep while I am sitting outside of the balcony.  That night I dream of the same door that I saw the last time Fird and I met. It feels like that door was belong to him. I keep on staring the door , why is there have one big scar in the middle of rotten wooden door? But is this really belongs to him?

In other hand, Fird Grey can be seen at the side beach , feels the sea breeze . Take some air that night. He grouch, feels so distract when he close his eyes seeing a girl's face . "Am I doing right ?"he murmur. He shook his head, and take one of small rock nearby and throw at the sea.

Note from the writer : Ok that's it end chapter 10 for Roses and Darkness . Only up until chapter 10 will be in my blog, the rest of the chapter will be in a book . InsyaAllah. And I know I had a lot bad arrangements of words and grammars. But I will do my best to make those corrections. Anyhow kindly support me to make this novel works. :) 

FYI :

Is not a normal malay love story, it was about two people accepting each other's darkness which no one capable to deal it, along their selfish,stubbornness, high taste , intelligence minds , controller ,egoistic .

There will be no triangle love story, and parents dislike or fighting or killing each other. It just accept each other darkness and try to make up with new environment of romance.

But it might not airing in Malaysia because there will be the scene that Malaysia cannot accept it tho. If you said this story resemble like 50 shades of grey , because the name of main male character is Fird Grey, I am sorry I did not mean to, but the owner of this character like that name tongue emoticon. It still not resemble as shades of grey because this both characters have own different darkness and in 50 shades of grey only Christian Grey has darkness whereas Anastasia Seetle does not have any . tongue emoticon ( I am reading the story ? Yes I am, it just for my English to be better and I like Christian Grey way in his business , not because I like the nasty scene)
