Why Are You Wearing That Stupid Man Suit?

So many hide themselves
To "keep up appearances"
Or to be "proper"
Why pretend when you don't have to?
If you don't put on enough makeup, will you be killed?
If you don't lose enough weight, will you lose yourself?
I find the ones who focus on their appearances the most
To be the most repulsive.

I find my poetry to be lacking a certain....well, "poetic" feel, but really structure does not matter to me anymore. I get my point across, and my thoughts/emotions are transferred accurately.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the art of human expression. If its not "traditionally" poetic that doesn't matter. I encourage the process of writing because it is all about creativity.
