An Invitation

The main male character creates the beginning of his plan... and explains what gives him his "high" of laughter.

One by one I see them leaving
Each handwritten holding the poison that is to come
I can see it now
Stealing her away
Leading her into another room
Just to break her heart even more
I will watch her fall to the ground crying
Smiling and laugh at her stupidity
Her naivety
She will ask again and and again
"Why?
Why must you do this to me?
Just let it all stop
Leave me be"
But, I will cut each string
Make her pain last even longer
squeeze her heart to the point it does not return
It will not love again
No matter how hard it tries
It has been hurt to many times
So many slits explains it's journey
That not just from me though
There were others
Not quite like me
But they still made her hurt
Fall to the ground
Tearing at her own chest to make the pain stop
Screaming and pleading
I can sense who it will be now
She seems to think her love floats...
Soon it will come crashing down
never to be lifted again
