Part V, The Song of the Spirit

Part V, The Song of the Spirit

A Chapter by Stefano Segnan

V.“I am the one that lives and behold,
I am alive and alive for evermore;
And bestowed unto me are the keys of the Heart
A mystery to ripe your gentle Soul:
In countless ways I may quench your longing
And that longing is in you all.

You can touch the naked body of the good Heart,
And though you do evil or foully speak,
I welcome you to my sacred fire
That peace unto you I may inspire;
And when the day appears utterly bleak
My rays shall kindle your kindred Heart.

And though in your forgetting
The wounds are delved in the depths of essence,
The deep roots of your good nature
Might steadily and strongly blossom,
Like a running brook filled by gentle rain
And turn in a boundless stream of peace.”
