Chapter 7

Chapter 7

A Chapter by Kiara

I opened my eyes.  Blurry figures surrounded me in a white room.  Angels?  I wondered.  Was I dead?

“Shhh awwwaykkkk.”  I heard.  I must be in a cloud or something.  The strangest thing was the angel’s voice.  It didn’t sound angelic at all.  The face didn’t look like one an angel would have either, and it seemed as if the angels were gathered around me.  The room wasn’t even completely empty.  I could vaguely make out shapes of objects and beeping.

This heaven was terrible.  My body was aching and I remembered too much.  Sophie and Lucas were both dead, too.  Why weren’t they here?  Did we have to stay in our room for a certain period of time before we were completely angels?

“Cannn new heaa rmmee?”  Asked one of the angels.  I couldn’t understand so I told them.  Their reply was “Shhh havvng trubbb bbbrrrthinnng.  Cllrrrr.”

It sounded like the angels were arguing so I relaxed, eyes closing and head falling back against the pillow.  Less effort never felt so good.
