Society Kills

Words whisper in my head 

           " I swear I'm not Skitzo!"  

They tell me to die 

            "Die you little b***h!"

No one cares...

             "No one cares..."

Doesn't matter to me,

            "Yes it does admit it!"

It doesn't! I'll ignore you.

             "You don't have the strength." 

I do have the strength! 

            " You are worthless."

Stop it! I'm not worthless...

           " Stop lying to yourself."

Tears dribble down my cheeks 

             "That's it, cry! It won't do any good."

Knife..blood...cut...

               "End your life! Good just like that!"

Goodbye family. The voices told me to die. 

             "There are no voices. You're just crazy."

I got it now. 

              "Society..."

Society...

                "It recked you. Your dead from it."

One. Last. Breath. 

             "So sorry. Atleast you won't ruin any more lives."

I haven't ruined any. But now I will. 

               " You understood a little too late."

Death. 

             "Goodbye."

It was interesting to read the poem almost as a stage play because there were actions and dialogue. I like your strength in the beginning to stand up to society. It has a great message.
