~ Energy

Under the sunset in our vision,

And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

You smelled like dusty earth mixed

With my old volcanic soil,

The cemetery was flowered

With cherry blossom,

But only we could see the

Other side so green,

You embraced my soul, and life,

With your dead smile embroiled in

Beauty,

               You knew me, as I you…

Your dark hair

Danced down my cheeks

With the help of the wind,

And our bones became one…

I am stunned. This is gorgeous. I agree. lol Perfectly done!! The visuals and romantics lol are to die for. Such beautiful energy felt here while engaged in this story of two dead lovers. Soul-mates.

Under the sunset in our vision,
And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

The beginning is so powerful, setting the air for the depth it precedes. The idea of the dust mixing. Being at last complete. Looking with eager eyes at the other side while in each other arms.. Wow! This poem is perfect Elisa. Truly xx

A amazing poem. I had to read a few times. It took me to a lonely place and you create vision of life and beauty with your words. I like the ending. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Thank you very much my friend... I'm pleased that you could feel this one.
did you mean "flowered"?

this is beautiful...our bones became one...there are those who leave us too soon, but a part of us never lets them leave...we hold on to their memories...

and embrace their dead smiles...because in our hearts, those smiles never die.

Gracias Roberto..... :)
Gorgeous. The music helped the poem touch real nicely. This is shorter than usual, but I find it soothing, there's that sweetness to it, like that of a stolen kiss.

You're welcome. And Thank you!
There is so much life and love in this beautiful offering that it is hard, so very hard to relate to the aspect that these two may not be of the living. Still, the wonder that is you words engulfs me with a mystic feeling and walks with me through this graveyard of old stones and floral beauty. You my friend are floral beauty...in my eyes.
