Talking to him,

Right before bed,

Blush-colored cheeks,

Thoughts in my head.

 

Could life be better?

I don't think so.

Any needed changes?

My answer is no.

 

I'm truly happy in life,

And completely in love,

Everyday I thank God,

For my gift from above.

 

He's everything to me,

My life and my world,

My complete happiness,

I'll always be his girl.

 

We're happily in love,

But no one else knows,

So people still flirt,

And anything goes...

 

Sometimes I don't like it,

But it's better this way,

People won't start drama,

And together we can stay.

 

We've been through lots,

But we're stronger now,

We'll be together forever,

I know we will, some how...

This poem is just too naive. It's innocent, but naive. Everything doesn't always end well. Especially in a relationship when there's only the two of you who knows about it. I know. I've been there. Love will always end sooner or later. No love lasts eternal. They will always find a reason to stop caring, to stop loving you. Everything that starts in love will always end in heartbreaks. Live your life like this poem, and you'd be miserable for the rest of your life. You may think that living those moments would be worth the pain and suffering afterwards, but it's not. Anyways, back to the literary review: the diction is pretty simple and the tone is fairly straightforward. The theme and point of view is focused.

In conclusion: The content is idiotically naive but the writing is fairly decent.
