A lesson for the Old Dog

A lesson for the Old Dog

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

well, dude, that's what you get when you hit on me at my parent's table.

"
Dear Sir,

How can I make it clearer?
Take a good look in the mirror.
I 'm not exactly the type
To giggle and swoon,
For a man who's way past ripe,
And a little out of tune.
You and your big fat wallet
Are not what wets my palate.

I'm not overly impressed
By your tacky leather vest,
I understand your hunger
Baby, let's be realistic,
To pursue someone younger ...
Why teach old dogs a new trick,
When you can get a new pup,
Who can always keep (it) up!

Ouch. I somehow feel that I, and all men have somehow been put in their place, as we all stumble around, looking sheepish and staring intently at the floor. :)
I am suitably ashamed. Me bad. We bad. What just happened? :)

Lol. This made me laugh. I got hit on recently by a guy while my daughter was with me.
To be fair, he didn't see her though... In my case, I think he was shocked and he backed off quick.
Love the song choice. :)
