Life always throw a devious hand to make us uncomfortable, isn't it. Only mothers lap are a relaxing place where we can sleep unmindfully! But such is life... And you are wise enough to step into it with panache... My best wishes are with you

You are welcome, dear:)
Some people begin young with a head full of plans for the future & others, like me, just go onward with a vague idea that I am leaving my comfort zone, but that I'll be back. For 30+ years I lived in populated places becuz that's where the good-paying jobs were, but all the time I dreamed of going back to nature (I grew up in the boondocks, an hour from the nearest little city). Anyhow, suffice to say that I have finally returned to living on the edge of wilderness, so whatever your vision is, hold on to it, becuz visualizing is strong medicine (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I remember those days too ... I fear it may be quite some time though before we return to anything like them ..

such a deep lesson in such a short stanza!!! loved it...we have troubled our mother earth too much...destroying her beauty is all that we've done...But! Yes, now the tables are turned and the pandemic has benefited us by making us aware of the actual beauty though only 1% yet but still changes are seen and the day is not far when everything will fall back to its original place and we will enjoy that warmth and love again!!!!1

I am lucky enough to live at wilderness . So your writing reminds how lucky i am and why i should be grateful. This simplicity is quiet close to zen haiku . It had very good positive vibes. Greatly done .

So many people feel this way these days. Covid19 is a killer in more ways than one. And I live where we were threatened by wildfires the past week, and it can get very hard to be ready to evacuate and stay cheerful. I'm afraid I didn't always manage that.
It's normal, I think, to feel like both ourselves and nature are in a lot of trouble, when we look at pollution and illness. Mismanagement can ruin a lot. But I don't think that's the whole story, and I hope you write about the other things too, the ones that can keep us afloat.
The redwoods, for example, many of which were caught in the fires near here, survived because, as a ranger said, "They're built to burn. They can withstand a wildfire and that way live a very long time." That was very encouraging to me. I hope you're encouraged by that, too.
People can be 'built to harm,' maybe, but there is something strong about us that helps us and families also live a long time. Change is can be a good thing, and looking at something new is refreshing. So - it amazes what a single sentence can cause! I'm glad you wrote it, and hope very much that things improve for you. For all of us.

Thank you for sharing your insightful point of view! I hope so too!
We must find places where we can know comfort. Our walls, can become prisons. Need a Great sea or deep forest to clear the head. Hello Allie. I hope you are enjoying the days of Summer.

You are welcome dear poet.
Such finely set, emotional and personal words you've shared. Think perhaps quite a few hide sadnesses and once shared slaughter tucked under a fine layer of 'must avoid it if i can because = it hurts '. Wondering if you feel that the urge for comfort is hidden, YET in fact, needs also be out in the All Around?

So few words from you but, an enormous nudge to find awareness and acceptance.. perhaps.
