Mirror in Your Dream—Original Urban Legend

Mirror in Your Dream—Original Urban Legend

A Chapter by Steven Cash
"

Just think about it.

"

Think long and hard about this question.

Have you ever seen a mirror in your dreams?

No, you haven’t. If you have, the mirror in your dream will seem faded or warped or something.

Something will be wrong with the mirror in your dream. Plain and simple, you will never see a mirror in your dream as you see it in real life.

Or at least when you wake up you will not remember having seen a mirror.

Why?

This is your body’s gift to you. While awake our brains operate at only 15% capacity. When asleep however, it is going 100% non-stop. Your brain in a dream can simulate every sense (taste, sight, smell, touch, hearing) as well as perceive what’s going on around you while you sleep. Like if someone breaks into your house.

But your mind will never show you a mirror in a dream.

Oh no.

Because at 100% our minds also gain certain telepathic capabilities. It’s inevitable. The mind is so powerful.

Want proof? Ever had a dream and someone else in your house said they had the same dream? IT happens. Sometimes your mind goes a bit  too powerful and connects with someone else’s mind.

That’s why your brain will distort any mirror in your dream, because this mirror, if seen properly, would allow you access into another person’s mind and thoughts.

Wanna try it? Go to sleep tonight and try to look into a mirror. You cannot do it.

Your brain won’t let you.

And be thankful.

Cause if you did see into another person’s mind… who knows what evil you may find?

I have had a few lucid dreams in my life, some on purpose, others not. When I was training to have lucid dreams, I found that looking in a mirror when you're awake makes a good reality check. A reality check is something that, if done enough in real life, you will eventually start to do in your dreams, and prove that you are, in fact, dreaming. If you see a mirror in your dreams, your reflection will be horribly distorted. If you are not immediatly shocked into waking up, then you will achive lucidity. I never used this reality check, it was too dangerous.
Beside this, it was a good write. 100/100
