my love for ballet dancing and playing the cello


Awaken Me

Deep chords

Of a solemn cello

Chiseling swiftly up

And down the scales

Stir raw emotions

Asleep in me


Gliding my feet

Back and forth

Swiftly, like a

Hummingbird just

Learning to fly


My satin toes

Make rhythmic

Thrusts against

The hardwoods,

As my arms

Soar through

The air



Of the cello




They cast

Their spell on

My spirit


Rich tones

Stoke the glowing

Embers of my

Very graphic. I enjoyed this. You have a good mix of the description plus the abstract. You can practically hear the music and see the dance and at the same time you can feel the feeling beyond...
