A Poem by Diana Owen Busy with Life BBS!

I wrote this one a long time ago, and I lost it... today I found it..

Come hither within,
Your life’s lonely end,
A touch of  forevers youth.

Dreams of nights of sinfully
Plights and days of peacefully slumber.

Hold my hand as we explore this land.
forevers-promised gifts.

One touch from my lips to your sweet skin,

will accept my Immortal Kiss.

hon, i'm so sorry. I dont know what happened. I'm reviewing this again, in the hopes it will let me rate again. I slid the bar over - it said 100 and I hit rate. After it loaded, it said 89%. I'm going to try to rate again to fix it. I'm so so so sorry!

ok - here's what I did - I deleted the review with the other rating - which I hope deletes the rating. Anyway - liked this one! loved the phrase "forevers promised gifts". and how that led into the ending of "immortal kiss". ok - trying this again.

It's sweet. I like the image it creates in my brain. Made me think of romance and lust, of forever love. I did not realize it was a vampire poem until I read your authors note. I took the immortal title as an indication of love being eternal shown in a simple kiss. And that their love will stand the test of time. Thanks for sharing. I love how I interpreted completely different.

I like the flow and feel of this poem. Seems like something that would be scrawled on a wall right before you were bitten. Very short and sweet, so little to portay such dark promises.

It's scary to find so many lusty pleasure in one's lip.
Its like almost scared to touch the 'forever' happiness.
I like it.
Thanks for sharing.

to me immortal is something that is forever in bloom. Some part of us all is immortal and we are all in debt of its kiss. I found a deep meaning in your words and find your poem insightful and passionate.

What a tasty little morsel this is... I would love to take a bit out of it.

Flows very nicely. Leaves the imagination to keep going after it's read..... lingering.
Nicely written and the picture you chose was good with it.

I really liked that one. And it reminds me of a book on vampires that I've read.
Nicely done. But I wish it was longer.
