Free Falling

Free Falling

A Chapter by Dice Jordan

Sprits fly.

The winds keep me alive.

Free flowing, my mind is at ease.

I run and run until my body, too, is free.

Then I fall, fall asleep.

I fall into eternity

Until

I stop!

I'm floating.

I close my eyes.

I spread my arms out and I fly.

I see my life below me.

All its impurities and faults,

I am aware!

I see everything.

I am above it.

I am alone.

I am surreal.

My life is no longer my own.

Those trials are no longer my burdens.

I see them

and I sigh...

Whoever must deal with them now is a poor, unfortunate soul.

I almost feel sorry I let my troubles go.

My head begins to hang in shame

and my arms fall...

A wonderful, fantastical, special piece. I like the title "Free Falling". Great poem.
