Pacing

Pacing

A Poem by emipoemi

All writers do it,
And daily keep to it,
For often ’tis through it
The wonders occur.

Peers grow severely
Concerned, and stare queerly,
But writers pace merely
To nurture their spur.

I practice starting. Sometimes wonderful things happen and sometimes it's a begining for another day!

Indeed. Thanks for reading. Glad you enjoyed it.
Daily writing leads to better writing
at least that's what they say,
but when the muse has flown
to parts unknown
it can make for an awful day. :))

Beccy.

but anything can be made better when put into rhyme! lol. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
I never know how to start.
My Mum is always asking me why I don't write as much anymore. Why I'm just staring at a blank page.
But I do write. All the time. Only, a lot of it is in my head.

indeed that tends to be the case. Thanks for reading. Glad you enjoyed it.
i have to just let it come to me...not force it...and there are dry spells...but this conduit finds momentum again, and when it happens, it is certainly a "wonder" to me.
I don't have any idea where it comes from....just grateful for it.

So am I. Thanks for reading. Glad you enjoyed it.
I love this. It truly captures what it is like to write. I am always trying to come up with new and witty stories/poems. You wrapped it up nicely. It is sweet, to the point, and flows making it a fun and easy read. Keep up the good work!:)

I used to walk on a treadmill and things would pop into my head. Blood flow to the brain must be a factor.
